ABOUT US

Our Association was registered on November 15, 2021 in Kyiv at the initiative of the leaders of a group of companies seeking in joint dialogue with state legislative and executive institutes to reform the railway freight infrastructure in Ukraine and provide market participants with decent conditions for quality services and sustainable development.

On December 10, 2021, the UAP became a member of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce, hereinafter referred to as the UNC ICC, headquartered in Paris, France. The President of the UAP was elected Vice-President of the UNC ICC for Cooperation with Railway Carriers of Ukraine.

The main task of the UAR is to organize a negotiation process with all institutions of power in Ukraine, especially with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and Ukrzaliznytsia JSC to create conditions for reforming rail freight. To do this, it is envisaged to establish a commission with the participation of private railway carriers of Ukraine at JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", as well as involving representatives of the UAP in the profile committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to actively participate in discussions of bills, regulations and other regulatory documents. Such steps will ensure the establishment of effective interaction of private railway carriers with the state, customers and other market participants.

A platform for systematic work with members of the association will be created within the UAP. Thus, the members of the association will have comprehensive support of each other in such issues as legal, technical and financial support, Human Resources, risk insurance, IT-innovations, prompt settlement of problems with JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", access to international partners, their events and projects.
